Leyline is a browser extension that draws a layout grid and a design reference image over the web page you are viewing.
What Leyline stores, and where
Your settings (grid presets, colors, per-site settings, the panel’s position) are saved with the browser’s extension storage on your device. Design images you add are saved in the extension’s own database on your device. You can delete an image from the panel at any time; removing the extension deletes everything.
What Leyline does not do
It does not collect, transmit, sell or share any data. It has no account, no analytics and no tracking, and it makes no network requests.
When Leyline can see a page
Only on the tab where you click its icon or press one of its keyboard shortcuts, and only to draw the overlay. On your device it keeps the site’s address (as the key for that site’s settings) and, if you pick a container, a CSS selector for it. It never sends page content anywhere.
